Mr. Jeffrey Dwaine
Science Teacher

"Science allows us to understand the way nature works and how fundamentally simple the universe is in all of its complexity."
I love teaching science!  My favorite part of teaching is experiencing "light bulb" moments, when I can see in my students an understanding that wasn't there a moment before.

I grew up in California and spent a lot of time outdoors camping, boating and enjoying nature.  I moved to Florida to spend more time with my niece and my nephew.   My family is very important to me and we have a lot of fun together.

When I am not teaching, I spend my time learning.  I enjoy learning to use guided inquiry and technnology in new and interesting ways to improve student learning.

Our headmaster has a great philosophy..."If the learning isn't fun, you're doing something wrong!"
My Web Quests and Web Activities

Use this Web Quest to create a virtual display board!  You will research the science behind important environmental issues and then create a web page to share what you have discovered!
